985 MERION

We traveled from wet and cold Seattle to spend 3 weeks in this home in February. Our adult kids flew in one weekend and my in-laws flew in for a weekend visit as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home. The things this house did well for us: amazing outdoor pool area with plenty of patio furniture (morning coffee in the hot tub was THE BEST), a cozy family tv space for watching movies, a well stocked kitchen and pantry, plenty of bedrooms each with their own bathroom and smart tv, a lovely walkable neighborhood. When the house was built in it's day it was top-notch but it is a bit dated. The owners have done a good job of keeping it feeling fresh. The property management team was very communicative and responsive although we had no issues.

We rented the home for a college reunion. There were 14 of us and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house was well stocked with all the kitchen necessities and linens, including pool towels. The backyard pool area was gorgeous and enjoyed by all. There were a couple of minor issues, but management was quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this home for a large group or family get together.

We had a wonderful time in this very large home. It's spacious and there was room for our entire family and 7 grandchildren. The casita is large and its great for an entire family with children. Pool area is spacious and comfortable. The only issues we had with some defered maintenance for the home. The electronic locks never worked so we always had to go thru the garage. The fountain in the front of the home was not maintained and had a large amount of stagnant water. The blinds in the living room didn't work which made the room dark. Overall it was a great time had by all.

We were coming out to La Quinta for work and decided to rent a house rather than stay at a hotel. Best decision ever! We love this house so much that we are now planning to come out for a vacation. The house was super comfortable, the kitchen was large and easy to use and, most importantly, the staff was super helpful and responsive. Thank you for making this trip a big success!

Electricity went off several times. AC could not keep up with extreme heat outside House could only cool to around 80. Refigerators and laundry did not work properly. House was better than most I have stayed at but with the very high price, I expected more.

Let me start by saying WOW. From the first touch Resort Home Destinations was first class. The care and flexibility shown for my plans was impressive! The house is a vacation mansion. We had 12 people for 10 days of fun in the sun. The pool and the hot tubs were perfect, the layout of the home and casita allowed all of us space and super comfortable surroundings! Truly an elegant experience. Outdoor bbq and dining area was well used, lots of refrigeration and a great bar area inside. The staff was always at the other end of the phone when I needed something, and they were prompt with the responses. Overall, I would give it a 10! Wine will be back! We had a lovely week in this huge and comfortable house. The furniture is excellent quality and the house was spotless. We had some issues with wifi (no wifi by the pool or in the cottage) but the manager is going to fix it. The master bedroom has a glorious, enormous bathroom but the AC doesn’t cool the bedroom well. The coldest bedroom is the one off the front entrance. That room is very cold and I was able to use the down comforter. However the toilet is sort of broken permanently so I used the half bath down the hall. All the beds have excellent linens and down pillows. The kitchen was the best we’ve ever seen in a rental. Th pool is excellent. Everyone who works there is super nice. Please note that it’s around a 10-15 minute drive to a grocery store.

We had five couples and had a wonderful time. The property exceeded our expectations and was in excellent condition. Thank you!!

Our family enjoyed the home and especially spending time together in the pool. The rental staff was very kind and helpful. Our only complaint were the number of crickets that we found/heard in the house. I understand we were there in the summer, but it bothered me that they seemed to keep showing up.

A great location and place to spend with family and friends in La Quinta at PGA West. Home was very clean and well stocked. However cannot give all "5" ratings due to maintenance problems. The pool has not been properly maintained. Water was murky even after we had pool service out. Pool service said no chlorine in pool; perhaps the filtration system is not large enough to properly maintain water condition for a pool this size with ten swimmers. Also micro wave did not work properly.

We plan to return next year but only after getting guarantees that pool is in usable condition.

Overall, this was a GREAT property. It was a perfect house for 8 women on a golf trip! Everybody had their own space and the hot tub and firepit were used every day and night!

Karen was great and responsive. We discovered our Keurig coffee pot was broken on the first morning. And we didn't have enough large wine glasses. By the time we got back from our first round of golf--we had a new Keurig (set up and ready to go) and 10 new wine glasses! Karen also scheduled massage therapists to come to the home. We all said that they were the best massages we had ever had! Karen delivered again!

There were several items needing maintenance/repair, but they didn't interfere with our trip. Karen asked for a list which I provided to her. We can't wait for next year!

Based on our great experience last year at a nearby villa rented through Resort Home, our family had great expectations. This year was a different experience. The house is large and comfortable but there were issues. To begin, unlike last year, no one came to give us orientation on the equipment. We were told to call if we needed, so we did and got a prompt response and instructions over the phone, but instructions from the outset would have been better. More importantly there were some problems. There was a large blind broken in one bedroom so that it blocked the patio doors. it couldn't be repaired so the handyman (who was great) removed it. The grate in front of the fireplace in the master bedroom also fell off. We could never get another fireplace in the sitting room lit. The roof leaked in the casita in at least two places. When we called to report it, the agent responded that because of the rain, this was "expected," and that someone from the team would come. Perhaps that was their expectation, but it was not ours. We sent photos of the leaks as requested, but no one ever came to check it out. Fortunately, it stopped raining, but the lack of response was disappointing. Finally, one member of our family arrived via private limo several days after we checked in and was denied entry at the gate by security because they said his name was not on the guest list. His name, along with everyone else, was provided months before. I contacted the agent and she called security, so he was able to get in after about a 20 minute delay. Perhaps this error was on the security complex and not resort home, but, either way, this could have been a real disaster had all of us been out as planned as our relative would have been stranded. In sum, just not up to expectations.

I gave very high ratings to this property although there was one very disappointing issue. We were unable to swim the day that we arrived because the water temperature was way too cold. Our little grandsons were so disappointed. I had a early check-in for 11am, in part, so we could use the pool. However, the water temperature stayed cool throughout day and evening. We expected to be able to use all amenities each day that we paid for. We continued to have issues with pool temperature for several days but just used pool with cool water.

This home was amazing plenty of room for our 10 adult 6 children group. So nice to have a bathroom for every family. We enjoyed the pool everyday!!! The beds and line was were very nice. Not a complaint from anyone

Fantastic House and Stay! Pool area was great for our extended family. Plenty of seating, outdoor fireplace, outside kitchen. The pools and spas were perfect temp - pleasing us after such a cold winter! Lovely upscale area with great course. Interior was well kitted out for cooking meals, beds super comfortable. Carriage House was a fun place for all the kids to hangout. Will be back for sure!

What a lovely property. The home was very clean, the beds were so comfortable and the pool area is fantastic. We had a few problems with some electronics, but they were resolved immediately by the property manager. We are already planning to visit again and will be staying at this home.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Merion property. The house was impressive and had all the amenities that we needed. There was plenty of space for everyone. We were given clear instructions on how to use all the gadgets inside and outside the house. We are looking forward to rent this property again in the future. 'Til next time.

First off i want to thank Karen for the great service. She was a life saver when we needed to upgrade to a bigger house. She was very patient and thorough helping with the upgrade. The house was amazing. When we got there a representative came to show us around and help with the sound system and pool system. Thank you Karen and the crew so much for everything.

We brought our whole family during Christmas break to stay in this lovely, spacious home. Even though the weather was a little cooler than expected, the kids were in the heated pool and hot tubs the entire time. Then sat around the fire pit to warm up in the evenings. The pool area was nice because there is a golf view but landscaping provides plenty of privacy. Kitchen and BBQ area were great for preparing meals for our large group. We walked in the gated neighborhood daily and people were friendly. Even got to see longhorn goats lounging on the golf course and walking down the street !
Marissa was awesome and responded quickly to questions or needs. This is our 5th rental home with RHD and we have never been disappointed.The family cant wait to book this one again!

We had a wonderful time staying at 79985 Merion over Labor Day Weekend. The house was very well appointed and spacious. The pool was perfect and had plenty of outdoor seating. We used the outdoor kitchen and fridge every day which was great to have close to the pool. There's also an outdoor bathroom which was great for the kids so they didn't have to dry off and go inside. Wifi worked really well too. Resort Home Destinations took care of all our questions and needs. Would definitely rent this house again.

Our stay was absolutely lovely. We rented the home for the weekend of Stagecoach Festival to spend time with friends and family. We also celebrated my 25th birthday, so the location was extra important to make the experience special. The property was identical, if so even more impressive then the photos online and the location was ideal for a festival goer! The property was well kept, had the right amount of space indoors/outdoors to host a large group and the amenities lived up to the host's posting. The owners/managers were extremely kind and easy to get ahold of! It was a wonderful property, well worth the price!

Everything was perfect... we could not have asked for anything more... the house and grounds were impeccable... staff was responsive.... who could ask for more... cannot wait to return!!! Thanks to all who made our stay so special..??
